We're delighted to hear that @adegacartuxa Vinho de Talha Branco has been chosen as one of the Top Ten wines to try in the 2025 edition of the recently released Hugh Johnson's Pocket Wine Book. These wines have been selected by @margaret_randpocketwine for having struck her with their character and style.

Margaret says: "It's a supple, fluid wine with enough skin tannins to give it texture - the texture feels like being brushed with a bird's wing feather. The fruit has notes of herbs, orange pith and fresh Victoria plum, and it's fresh, alive and would be extremely useful with food."

Congratulations to the Mentzendorff Mavericks who put in an outstanding performance at yesterday’s Pol Roger Wine Trade Touch Rugby Tournament in aid of @drinks_trust. We are so proud that they managed to reach the semi-finals and finish third overall! It was an excellent turnout to support a very worthy cause with a big thanks to @pol_roger for organising and a special mention for all the Mentzendorff spectators who came along to cheer us on!

And we’re back!.. What a fantastic three days we had back at the @london_wine_fair showcasing a glimpse of the Mentzendorff portfolio of wines. Thank you to all involved for making it such a successful three days filled with fun, opportunity and education... and most importantly, delicious wine!

Over the course of the three days, we welcomed producers from all over the world. They each hosted informative masterclass tastings, exploring their specialties, and delving into their worlds of winemaking. Thank you to all our principals who travelled to the UK and presented their wines – your masterclass tastings were thoroughly enjoyed by many.
